The amount of grub damage I’ve been seeing this year is unreal! My phone has been ringing off the hook with folks looking to kill these little buggers and have their turf renovated. All of this is completely avoidable by having a timed grub application in June when grubs are most vulnerable. A 50-100 dollar investment in your yard can help save hundreds in repair costs.

We can’t stress it enough to customers! Cutting your grass at a MINIMUM of three inches is critical for a lush healthy turf! We have some very dry and hot days ahead of us now and this will make it even more important to mitigate burn. A higher turf height helps keep w**ds from germinating as well! Mow high!

The season has officially started! Started off with some sports turf today. Fertilized and applied crabgrass pre-emergent to 6 baseball fields. So odd to not see practices on a dry day. Hopefully these virus cancellations will pass quickly and we will see youngsters enjoying some ball games in the near future!
