The newest ITD job went extremely well and all thanks to Idaho Tree and Utility Solutions , McCall Tree LLC & the Albach team David & Jenna! What a hard working group of bad asses!

We brought out the big boy toys removing 1,620 hazard trees from highway 55. This job was completed in 13. 5 days.

Well folks, looks like from here on out we will have to enjoy delightful royalty free music while watching our awesome arborists and their chainsaws play their cards at this blue collar game. We know it's not about the music but a good tune sure brings it all together.

Homeowner tree removals and pruning, Idaho Power Line Clearance, Hardscape projects, Fire Mitigation, Kathryn Albertson’s Park Russian Olive removal project and the beginning of another hazardous tree removal project is what we’ve been up to these last 5 months.
It’s been a busy winter and beginning of spring 2026.

We are grateful for a good group of guys who are dedicated to safety and professionalism; they are the face of 2 Rivers Tree & Hardscapes.

EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT!!!

Meet Zack V! Zack has been a part of the 2 Rivers Tree family since 2025. In fact, in a few days, we will celebrating his 1 year anniversary!

Zack was born at the St Luke’s right here in Boise Idaho. He has been in the green industry, specifically working on trees, since December 2021. He also worked in a saw mill for several years. “I love the smell of fresh cut wood, especially fir” Zack says, “I also very much enjoy being outside so tree work seemed like a good fit for me”

When asked what his favorite part of the job is, he had this to say “Climbing is hands down the best part of the job. My favorite is getting to the top of a big conifer in the mountains first thing in the morning and getting to see the sunrise.”
Zack’s words of wisdom to his team is this: “Never underestimate yourself! When I started as a groundsman I wasn’t a huge fan of heights and didn’t think I’d ever be able to get used to being off the ground, but once I started climbing, I fell in love with it and now hanging out in the tree tops is part of daily life.”

• Favorite tree is the Staghorn Sumac, Rhus thyphina
• Favorite movie is the original Star Wars Trilogy
• Favorite band is Black Sabbath, original lineup.

Zack you are a hard ass worker and not afraid of a challenge. You take direction very well and you are always on time, something that a lot of people don’t think to be too important these days. We really appreciate all of your work and work ethic. You strive to get along with the entire team and go where you are needed. All of these qualities make you a bad ass and very valuable. Zack, you will always be family!

EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT!!!

Meet Avery! In just a handful of days we will be celebrating Avery’s 1 year anniversary with 2 Rivers Tree & Hardscapes; we are so grateful he is here!

Avery was born in Spartanburg South Carolina but has lived in Boise for 15 years. He has been doing tree work for 10 years and says it’s something he just can’t get away from. “The funnest part of my job”, Avery says “is being outside swinging around in trees + dropping some wood! But what takes the cake is getting to hang out with good people everyday at work!”

We asked Avery if he has any words of wisdom after being in this industry for 10 years, this is his response: “We are here to keep each other safe. Don’t be afraid to speak up. If you see someone having an off day, don’t be afraid to ask what’s up and step up to the task. We spend more time with each other than our own families. Tree work is no joke.” 👏👏👏

Outside of work he spends most of his time with his kids but when he has a few extra spare moments, you can find him working on cars, riding motorcycles, hiking and snowboarding!

•Favorite tree is the Northern Red Oak, Quercus rubra
•Favorite movie is hard to pick but he really likes The Client
•Favorite band is also hard to pick but he really enjoys Atmosphere.

Avery, you are a genuinely caring guy. Your temperament is very easy going and laid back, which is a nice change for this fast paced environment. You are easy to get along with and have a strong work ethic, all stellar attributes when working in the tree world!
We are so happy you are apart of the 2 Rivers Tree family Avery and are excited to watch as you broaden your skills even more and advance in this industry!

We want to take a minute and express our gratitude and appreciation.
We want to share and celebrate these 11 individuals and their time they have given us. We are beyond proud and grateful for each of them. Everyone of them brings something different and unique to the table.

These are some of the faces that represent this business; they are our backbone....because of them, and our team members just under a year with us, we are the company that we are today.

2 Rivers Tree along with Industry Professionals Idaho Tree and Utility Solutions and McCall Tree LLC hosted an Aerial Lift and Climbing Rescue training event today.

Klayton ran the Aerial Lift Training, while Conor and Rayne helped lead the Climbing portion.
30 arborists were able to smoothly and efficiently participate in rotation between the two.

Rescue training events like these are an incredibly important part of this industry. It is easy enough to become complacent as we move through our regular weekly routine but, with continued trainings like these, we have a better chance at safely rescuing our co-workers and friends if and when an emergency situation arises.
The more we practice, the better we are for everyone around us. More tools in the tool box.
