We often get asked if we pick up the aeration plugs and our answer is no. We sweep what’s on the sidewalk/concrete.

You should leave the soil plugs on your lawn after aerating. While they may look like "p**p" or a mess, they are highly beneficial for your lawn’s health.

Why You Should Leave Them

* Nutrient Recycling: The plugs contain concentrated amounts of soil, organic matter, and beneficial microorganisms that break down and return nutrients to the turf.

* Thatch Reduction: Microorganisms in the cores help decompose any existing thatch layer as they melt back into the grass.

* Improved Germination: If you are overseeding, leaving the plugs provides extra soil-to-seed contact, which can improve germination rates.

As the arrival irrigation water activation approaches (Kuna has said April 20th with full pressure by April 24).

Today was the start of our spring aeration season.

We are pleased to announce that our pricing structure remains the same with the past three year. For standard residential properties, we offer front and back aeration service for $50 or $30 for front or back only.

As irrigation water is set to be shut off on October 7th in Kuna. We are opening our fall aeration schedule as of Friday, September 19th.

We have openings on Friday
September 19 & 26, October 10, 17 and 24th

Saturday, September 20 & 27, October 4, 11, 18 and 25.

As the arrival of irrigation water activation approaches (Kuna has said April 15, with full pressure by April 17) and the weather is warming up, we are preparing to start our aeration services starting April 25th.

It is advised to hydrate the soil for approximately one week (a handful of waterings) prior to aeration to optimize and maximize the benefits of the process.

We are pleased to announce that our pricing structure has remained the same for the past two years. For standard residential properties, we offer front and back aeration service for $50 or $30 for front or back only.

Aeration season is almost upon us and we will probably be starting the 2nd week of April although we might open up the first week depending on the weather.

We have some warmer days coming but irrigation water is turned on until the mid of the month. We always recommend water a few days first to ensure the soil softens up a bit to ensure to rods reach the maximum depth to give you the best result’s.
