If your downspouts dump within 3 feet of the foundation, you have a drainage problem you can see.

Standard fix is underground extensions that carry the water at least 10 feet out, with a popup emitter at the end. Cheap to install. Massive impact on foundation moisture.

Myth: window wells are supposed to fill up during a heavy rain.

Reality: a properly installed window well has a working drain at the bottom that ties into the foundation drain. If yours fills up, that drain is clogged or never existed. We add or repair them.

Field report: crawl space in Boise today had standing water in three separate low spots.

The fix was not a pump. It was sealing two foundation vents that were letting rainwater splash in, fixing one downspout that pointed the wrong way, and installing a sealed v***r barrier.
