Double layered “Lifetime” floor because the first layer was failing so bad they just went over it. This wasn’t done by a small company….its a huge company and it’s 3700sqft that now needs entirely ripped out and done properly. Their lifetime warranty wasn’t covering this, so the customer is out. It’s so frustrating seeing this.

West Boise Reseal — Ballistix Pro + Ballistix SC
Client wanted the shine back, so we re‑emulsified the old acrylic with xylene, leveled it out, and laid fresh Ballistix Pro followed by SC for long‑term protection.
Gloss restored. Color popped. Slab looks new again.

Cracked concrete up in McCall — We rebuilt the damaged slab with epoxy mortar, got everything level and solid, then topped it with a gravel flake epoxy and poly system. And had a nice buck walk by.

Domino is the perfect blend of black/white/gray, so it works with any home style in this area — especially the newer builds with lighter exterior colors.What this floor got:

Full mechanical grind for maximum adhesion
Chip repair on control joints which is common on new builds due to L1 concrete
Domino accent flake broadcast to rejection
Polyaspartic topcoat for UV stability and fast return‑to‑service

Quick PSA for anyone getting a garage floor “prepped” with a pressure washer and not using proper equipment.

I was out doing a job yesterday in North Meridian and the neighbor came over to chat. He mentioned he’s having his floor done tomorrow and the painter (not epoxy pro) was already out there pressure washing the slab.

Not naming the company although I see them there now— just giving people a heads‑up.Pressure washing is not proper prep for epoxy or polyaspartic floors. It might make the concrete look clean, but it doesn’t open the pores or create the mechanical profile the coating needs to bond. If your contractor isn’t grinding the slab, the floor is going to peel or bubble. Just trying to save folks from paying for the same floor twice.

Neighbor said they have already done multiple floors out here. Felt bad they were charging about what I would have done a long lasting quality floor for. 😬

We often get asked how easy oil is to get off our floors.
So I strategically engineered a 12‑quart oil spill in the garage.
For science.
Definitely not because I stupidly forgot to remove the bucket from under the truck before backing out of the garage at 1030 pm.

Two coats of poly in Nampa.
Wrapped it up and headed to the next floor in Southeast Boise
