To Our IBEW Local 917 Brothers and Sisters,
Our union family has faced some difficult times recently. We have members who have lost loved ones, experienced house fires, accidents, and other hardships that can turn life upside down in an instant.

During times like these, we want every member to know something very important: you are not alone.

Each and every one of you is an important part of IBEW Local 917. We see the hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and commitment you put in every day—not only to your jobs and your families, but to making our union and our communities stronger.

That is what makes us a brotherhood and a sisterhood. We stand together in the good times, but even more importantly, we stand together when times are difficult. When one of us is hurting, we all feel it. When one of us needs a helping hand, we come together to provide it.

Please remember that the hall is here for you. If you or your family ever need support, assistance, or simply someone to talk to, please reach out. Don't hesitate to ask for help. You are never a burden, and you never have to face a difficult situation alone.

Let us continue to look out for one another, check on our brothers and sisters, and offer a helping hand whenever we can.

Please keep all of our members and their families who are going through difficult times in your thoughts and prayers.

It’s that time of the year again!

The IBEW Local 917 food drive is actively collecting non-perishable snacks to discreetly feed kids in need through participating school districts and local churches.

Drop-Off Location: Place items in the donation box located inside the front door of the Union Hall.
Union Hall Address: 1620 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39301

Office Hours: Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Examples: Granola Bars, Crackers, Fruit Snacks, Applesauce Pouches, Pop-Tarts, Fruit Cups, Protein Bars, Jerky, Pretzels, Chips, ETC.

The Big Picture: We have officially crossed 900,000 members across North America! We added more members last year than in any year since 1969. For the first time in history, our Brotherhood surpassed 1 billion man-hours worked!

Where Local 917 Stands: International Offices highlighted the fastest-growing locals in the country, and Local 917 is right at the top! Our market share, our sisterhood/brotherhood, and our union power are rising because of your hard work every day on the job site.
