There seems to be a trend to create 'mulch volcanos' around the base of trees. Like Crape murder, this is a trend that is harmful to your precious trees. Mounding the mulch allows the roots to grow into mulch, out of the ground. It also strongly encourages insects to attack the base of your tree. Mulch should be cleaned out from time to time and not allowed to touch the trunk.

Time to save the Blueberries from the birds. We are laminating two strip of wood for the frame and the netting will go over the cage. I cut these berries back a lot because they had gotten too big to cover. There will be some good eating soon.

These are Mouse Ear Coreoposis. They are super hardy and look great as edging for the front of a bed.

A 60's size closet updated to today's needs and esthetic. I was able to customize this for the customer to her height for hanging clothes and give her storage for most of her shoes in the closet. It is pretty and very easy to maintain. Since there wasn't room for all the shoes, we added a shoe sleigh that is on rollers and goes under the bed.
