🚧 Construction Safety Week at the Dunn Dental Clinic 🚧

Last week, we proudly recognized Construction Safety Week by hosting two successful safety stand downs at the Dunn Dental Clinic project to reinforce the importance of jobsite safety with all workers onsite.

During the first stand down, pastries and refreshments were provided while crews discussed general safety topics, hazard awareness, and the importance of maintaining a safe work environment every day.

At the second stand down, lunch was served for about 100 workers in attendance. Safety raffle prizes were awarded, and a guest speaker from TDI Plumbing delivered an informative presentation on fall protection, emphasizing the importance of proper fall protection equipment and following safe procedures while working at heights.

A special thank you to Michael Mader (USACE South Texas Safety Coordinator) and Travis Hightower (USACE Project Engineer) for joining us and supporting these important safety initiatives.
Both stand-downs were a great success and helped strengthen safety awareness and teamwork across the entire project. Safety remains our top priority! 💪🦺

Team culture matters just as much as the work we build.

This week, our team traded hard hats for paddles and spent the afternoon on the pickleball court. It was a great chance to step away from job sites and schedules, connect across teams, and bring a little friendly competition into the mix.

Moments like this strengthen how we show up for each other and for our clients. Strong teams build better projects.

Last week, we celebrated another exciting milestone with a wall breaking ceremony at Ft. Bragg Womack Army Medical Center.

This moment represents more than just the start of construction. It reflects months of planning, collaboration, and a shared vision coming to life. With sledgehammers in hand, our team and partners officially kicked off the transformation of the Surgical Suite.

We are proud to work alongside an incredible group of clients, designers, and trade partners who make projects like this possible. Looking forward to sharing progress as we move from demolition to delivery.

Healthcare construction is one of the most complex building environments in the industry. Between infection control, phasing, and working in occupied facilities, the margin for error is extremely small.

Successful projects come down to three things:
• Early coordination with clinical staff.
• Detailed phasing plans.
• Relentless focus on safety.

Not only are these construction challenges, they are also operational priorities that impact patient care.
