It's that time of year again for aeration and overseeding. Aeration helps loosen up the soil so water and nutrients can flow smoother to grass roots. This allows grass roots to grow deeper and remain healthier during the hot summer months. Adding new grass seed helps replace and blades of grass that may have died off during the season while also filling in space to prevent weeds from growing.

Little late posting the winner as we did it yesterday at the event. In total, we raised $1100 in support for the Salute The Troops Foundation. The money they raise is used for veterans such as a 92 year old who struggled to pay property taxes. The man's son was at the event to receive the check for him. Another veteran was gifted an all expenses paid mental health retreat. They've helped veterans with car issues, home heating issues amd so much more.

In total, yesterday's event raised nearly $21,000 to help more veterans. All of you that participated in our raffle were part of helping the veteran community. We can't thank you enough for participating. We hope to be able do another raffle or something to help raise funds for more community organizations.

Today we are at Uproar Strength in Hudson as the Platinum sponsor for the Lift Free or Die Strongman competition. This year's beneficiary is End 68 Hours of Hunger which is an organization I have done work with years ago and a great organization.

Come on down and check out the competition and vendors. We also have our raffle going for the Blackstone grill to benefit Salute The Troops Foundation.

Happy Monday everyone. Just a little update. So far we are up to $370. We are off to a pretty good start but I know we can keep adding to our donation! Every bit helps the cause and helps a veteran in need!

Some weekend field mowing for one of our customers. This walk behind has been an absolute beast. The hour meter stopped working around 1200, which was a few years before we got it. I believe it's a 2015 machine. She still takes the abuse and keeps on trucking. We first started this field with a rented skid steer with a brush mower. After a couple mows, we decided to see if the walk behind could handle it and been using it ever since.

Tried out some new blades for the field mowing. We are always looking at new equipment that can help increase efficiency and provide services at a more reasonable cost. Sometimes, doesn't always work out. Wasn't too happy with the way the blades cut and how clumpy the grass came out. Looks like we'll stick to the old blades as they cut better and were more efficient
