Seasonal Lawn Care Tips for Winter & Fall


The growing season is over. Here are some tips for your lawn for December and January. 
Be sure to remove leaves, sticks and other debris from the lawn. Leaves will block sunlight from reaching the grass blades, and they will be harder to remove in the spring when they are wet.
Make sure to continue fertilizing every three months the to ensure a healthy lawn.
If the temperature is going to drop below 40°, cover all small plants with a sheet or tarp to avoid having them die from the cold.
Take care of your feathered friends and keep those bird feeders filled.
