Congratulations to the residents who won trees through the community tree lottery, and a special thank you to The Village Department of Public Works, Wayside Nurseries, and the Northshore Rotary for donating additional Redbud trees to be planted at the Village Park.

Our own Nathan Schuettpelz also had the opportunity to help teach proper tree planting techniques during the event, helping set these trees up for long-term health and success.

This past Friday, our team at Wachtel Tree Science was proud to partner with Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids at the WI Lions Camp in Rosholt to help prune and care for trees before summer camps begin. 🌳

Meet Jamie Mason🌳

Jamie is an ISA Certified Arborist with a background in Conservation and Environmental Science from UW-Milwaukee. Jamie joined Wachtel Tree Science in 2019 as a member of our production team and rapidly developed her skills allowing her to move into the role of Diagnostician. Jamie brings a science-based, ethical approach to tree care and is dedicated to helping her clients’ trees thrive.

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys birding, hiking, houseplants and she dreams of someday owning a mini farm.

After years of dedicated service and care for our community’s trees, we’re celebrating the retirement of John Gall this Spring! 👏

John planted his 10th tree for Arbor Day at Stormonth Elementary School in Fox Point, a beautiful Moraine Sweetgum, thoughtfully dedicated to him by the Village Garden Club. A fitting tribute to someone who has spent his career helping our landscapes grow stronger and healthier.
