Roots can travel a Long way. They start out small and invade your aging Sewer Line. While enjoying the water and fertilizer they grow big then block your sewer line. Running a Plumber Snake down the drain works for awhile basically just giving them a haircut. However through the passage of time the roots Destroy the entire sewer. Here are pictures of one of the countless Sewer Mains that have had this happen and we have replaced. In addition when All Star Plumbing replaces any Sewer Main we always shade the new ABS line with rock salt. This deters any future root invasion. And as Always We Leave any Job as Clean or Cleaner then when we found it.

Create Sewer Pipe Damage. Especially in Old Orangeberg Pipe. Only Fix is Cut out the Damaged pipe, replace and Shade with Salt to deter Future Root Growth!
