There’s a tarp on your roof… now what?

A tarp is a temporary solution—not a permanent repair.

After a storm, a tarp can help keep water out and prevent additional damage, but it shouldn’t stay on your roof for weeks or months.

Here’s what you should do:

✅ Take photos of the damage if it’s safe to do so.

✅ Keep the tarp in place until a professional can inspect the roof. Removing it too soon could allow more water into your home.

✅ Schedule a roof inspection as soon as possible. The tarp only hides the problem—it doesn’t fix it.
