We opened up a roof in Slidell, LA this week and found not one… but two layers of shingles.

Both installed wrong. No starter strip. Improper nailing. No ventilation.

The attic was holding so much moisture you could feel it.

We stripped everything down to the decking, replaced damaged wood, added a proper ventilation system, and installed a full GAF-certified roof with the right underlayment and water shield.

That home’s finally breathing again, and ready for the next storm.
