State Block is proud to be a part of the new Ochsner Medical Complex – Airline. This will be a 46,000-square-foot facility bringing world-class care closer to home for Southeast Louisiana families.

Due to open in the winter 2027, the complex will offer sports medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics, women's services, physical therapy, imaging and lab services; all in one place.

While working on the air system at the State Block plant, we pulled out an old air tank that had developed a leak and needed some attention. When we found the nameplate, we discovered something pretty remarkable—the tank was built in 1940.

That’s over 85 years of service from a piece of equipment built in a different era.

It got us thinking about something we know a thing or two about at State Block: longevity.
Just like that old air tank, State Block has been built to stand the test of time. For generations, we’ve worked hard to produce quality products, serve our customers, and keep building a company that lasts.

The equipment may change. The technology may improve. But some things never go out of style—quality, durability, and a commitment to doing the job right.
