GARLIC IS ONE SMALL STEP TOWARD A MORE SELF-SUFFICIENT LIFE.

Ivan Garlic is available now at Food Plant Nursery for planting this fall.

You can still plant garlic in November here in Indiana. Put it in the ground, let it establish roots before winter, and next summer you can harvest your own garlic instead of buying it at the grocery store.

Garlic is one of those simple crops that makes sense. It doesn't take much space, stores well, is useful in the kitchen, and has long been valued as part of a healthy diet.

And there is another benefit people don't talk about enough.

Every food crop you grow is one less thing you have to buy.

In an inflationary world, learning to produce more of your own food is a way to keep more of your money in your pocket and build real household wealth. Not everything has to be about making more money. Sometimes wealth is simply needing less money to live.

Plant a little garlic.
Plant some berries.
Plant a fruit tree.
Build your own backyard grocery store one plant at a time.

Ivan Garlic is available as seed garlic and table garlic at Food Plant Nursery.

We also have berry bushes and other perennial food plants to help you build a more independent food-producing homestead.
