Unfortunately, there are 2 men in Metropolis posing as Russell HVAC employees scamming customers out of money and performing crappy service.

Please note Russell Heating & Air is NO LONGER in business. We have NOT serviced any Russell HVAC customers since the summer of 2025 because we do not have reputable workers to send to homes or businesses under Russell HVAC.

We DO NOT and WILL NOT ever send anyone who is not capable of performing top-notch service or parts. Should an issue occur, Russell Electric would do our best to make it right [under certain circumstances].

If you are contacted by people who are stating they work for Russell HVAC, call 618-524-9406 IMMEDIATELY to confirm who they are...and then call the police!

Our internet service provider is currently experiencing an statewide outage. This outage has disabled our Internet, email, and telephone services. We were blessed with the opportunity to replace the condenser at a local establishment here in town. The upgrade was needed and who else better to call than your local HVAC Professionals. We were able to get the old one tore out and install the new one. Due to the size difference, the new one, had to be installed on the ground.

Something we don't think about. But it is extremely important. When was the last time, your outside condenser received a bath? It is very important to maintain your system once a year. This will ensure that it is breathing correctly and not being overworked which can cause a slew of problems for staying cool as well as your pocket. As you look at these pictures, you will see a progression of what the system looked like before we cleaned the coils.

Another fine installation by one of our Certified Technicians. Mr. Joshua Hayes. Removed previous Package Unit and installed a new Carrier Package Unit with a Doghouse(rain cover), it protects the transition and keeps water from going inside the home. Also installed a new condensate line. Call us for your FREE Quote. It will be hot next week, don't wait til then to resolve your A/C problem.
