Sassafras is more than just a sweet treat!
👍 Indigenous groups have used sassafras leaves for medicine and sassafras oil for cooking.
☀️ Sassafras is found in well-drained, acidic soils, and prefers full sun exposure.
🦖 The native tree is easily identified by its variable leaves, which can be a simple leaf shape, mitten shaped, or three lobed like a T-rex footprint.
🥣 Sassafras also has a distinctive smell, which some say is like the breakfast cereal, Fruit Loops️™.

I love a good challenge, and thats exactly what this job served up. With limited access, threatening weather forecasted, and the complexity of an entire tree precariously balancing on this structure, a good plan and precise ex*****on was needed to remove this tree without causing more damage.

Knowing I needed specalized equipment to do this one right, I called my friends at Helmer’s Complete Tree Service, LLC in Durhamville. We devised a plan to work together. Using their crane and my equipment to process and handle material, we went to work helping the home owner as quickly as possible. It was an honor and a pleasure to work along side a high caliber team.
