Our Staff Activity Committee was able to present a few of our employees with thankful baskets. To express our gratitude for their efforts and commitment, we made thankful baskets. We are looking forward to the fortunate winners of the upcoming month!

Our veterans had the opportunity to top their own waffles on National Waffle Day! It was considered DELICIOUS by our Veterans!

The Mid West Infidels coming to visit our Veterans was a wonderful time. They met with our Veterans while they were here and donated $16,000 from their most recent poker run to the Missouri Veterans Home-Mexico Assistance League! They made sure our Veterans were able to see their motorcycles before leaving our facility. Thank you to the Mid West Infidels for your continuous support of our Veterans.

The quarterly bingo and pizza lunch for our Veterans was hosted by the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 4-7 . This is something that our Veterans always enjoy. We appreciate United Credit Union purchasing pizza for all of our Veterans to enjoy! We appreciate every one of you for showing support to our Veterans.

This year, the Missouri Veterans Home-Mexico County fair was once again enjoyed by our Veterans. A farmer's market featuring fresh produce and homemade jelly kicked off the week. A tractor show was held. We would like to express our gratitude to Sydenstricker Nobbe and Ennis Implement for providing us with some tractors, as well as to our staff member Chris Peak for bringing in his tractor collection and our junior volunteers for bringing in their goat. We had golf cart rides, carnival games, a talent show, and, of course, fair food. What a delightful way to spend the summer!
