A new Italian dining destination has arrived on the shores of Biscayne Bay.

La Sponda recently opened at Grove Isle, bringing a new Italian dining experience from the team behind Daniel’s Miami to one of Coconut Grove’s most scenic settings.

Inspired by travels across Italy and the founders’ roots in Puglia, the menu moves through regional Italian cooking with handmade pasta, crudo, live-fire seafood and steak, all served against panoramic water views.

It’s one of the newest additions to Miami’s dining scene, and another reason Coconut Grove continues to be one of the city’s most interesting neighborhoods to explore.

The South Beach Seafood Festival returns this October with four days centered around some of Miami’s most celebrated chefs, restaurants and flavors.
