Restoring the historic Surf Club was a journey through time. I wanted people to walk through its original walls and feel the elegance of the 1930s, while experiencing how naturally that history could become part of contemporary life.

For me, architecture creates a connection to a place, to its ocean, its light, and the stories it holds. At The Surf Club, preserving that connection meant honoring the character of the original architecture while allowing its next chapter to unfold.

Today, seeing these spaces filled with life is what makes that work meaningful. The history lives on through the people who gather here, the moments they share, and the memories they take with them.

At Four Seasons at The Surf Club , every space was considered as part of one continuous experience, from the historic entrance and original architecture to the terraces, residences, pool, and quiet moments overlooking the Atlantic.

Our work was about honoring the history of The Surf Club while creating a new chapter around it, preserving its character, opening it to light and landscape, and designing spaces that feel as timeless today as the place itself.

Nearly a century of stories live here, and Iโ€™m proud that our architecture has become part of the story still being written.

When I design a home, Iโ€™m not just thinking about walls, materials, or square footage. Iโ€™m thinking about perspective. How the morning light enters a room. How a sunset becomes part of the living space. How a waterfront view feels from the kitchen, the terrace, or your favorite chair.

Great design doesnโ€™t compete with its surroundings, it frames them.
