Originally founded in 1998 in New York City, MS2 Design Studio, Inc. After a short hiatus, the company reopened in Miami, Florida in 2010 to great acclaim. The principal, Michael Scigliano, started his design career in New York City in 1995 with two of the finest quality furniture manufacturing companies. His first design job was with Brown Siegel Design Associates where he specialized in resident

ial design in Manhattan and the Hamptons as well as being part of the team that designed the new Escada Flagship Store on 5th Avenue. He then moved to Repertoire in SoHo. A design project he was working on in Palm Beach with this firm moved him back to the Miami area in 2002. Since moving to Miami, Mr. Scigliano has worked for several well known firms but decided to reopen MS2 Design Studio, Inc. The firm specializes in custom built-in cabinetry, flooring, innovative lighting systems and custom furniture design, always using the newest materials while still staying true to the classics. MS2 Design Studio has remained very busy despite the current economic situation with over 50,000 sq ft of projects currently in progress.

It's been a busy ten months for MS2 Design Studio! Our firm is extremely proud to have our last three projects published in these four esteemed magazines! And to top it off, being nominated Best of Florida! It means the world to have our work be recognized by our colleagues.

While each project embodies the same chic, sophisticated sensibilities that are expected from an MS2 project. All are unique unto themselves and reflect each client's needs and desires. We take great pride in having every project be unique and one of a kind and not replicating our designs.

Our latest project, a 6,000 sq ft waterfront home in Miami Beach, is featured in the Spring issue of Design + Decor magazine in a 15 page editorial! Wow! We had an amazing team, featuring Pacheco Architecture, Entek Construction and fantastic clients, giving us a stunning outcome!

Michael Scigliano has cemented his reputation as an Industry Insider with his firm's modern design sensibilities, in creating sophisticated, edited and livable interiors. “We don't follow trends, but rather use classic materials in new and creative ways," he says. MS2's recent projects range from a residence in the Continuum with a darker and more masculine motif, to a waterfront home in Miami Beach, drawing inspiration from high fashion through luxurious textiles, polished and matte gold, hand-carved alabaster, pink onyx and bark. For a pied-a-terre in Manhattan (recently published in ) Scigliano was tasked with creating harmonious interiors to compliment his client's growing art collection. Incorporating them into our NYC project was a no brainer. Their sophistication, chiness, and versatility make them a joy to work with.

The joy is in the creating. Knowing that you are designing the backdrop for your clients and their family and friends, to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and live their daily lives. But to have your creation, catch the eye of a brilliant publication, like Interiors magazine takes that joy to another level.
