One more beach house to finish and this is where we will spend the rest of the fall. “The Farm” was built by Oprah in 1988. The 164 acre property has a Mansion, Guest House, Caretakers House, Cabin in the woods, tennis courts, swimming pool, horse stables, orchard and sheepdog quarters. Across the street there is another home that sits on a 50 acre lake that is now part of the estate. Glenn Frey from the Eagles played here before he passed away.

Apparently we’re going to be painting every building on the property.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This was one of our favorite transformations of the summer. There was a new addition built above the garage with cedar siding spliced in. New garage doors and lighting installed and everything got a fresh coat of paint. It came a long way from the peach siding with orange brick. 👨🏻‍🎨

This home was scraped and repainted many times since it was built in 1954. The siding was in pretty bad shape and it was time to start fresh. We sanded through 8 different colors of paint on the cedar. Some filler, a few cases of caulk and two coats of paint got it back to new again. 👨🏻‍🎨

7 building, 5 guys, 5 weeks, well over 100 gallons of paint and 14 happy customers later.. The best lunch break view of the summer. 👨🏻‍🎨

One of my favorite houses we have painted this summer! It was two shades of tan with green doors before we got ahold of it. A few coats of Sherwin Williams Pure White SW7005, Tricorn Black SW6258 on the garage door and Sea Foam Green man doors came together nicely. This log cabin project was built in the 40’s. It had been remodeled and added on to with much of the original parts repurposed. The floor throughout was taken from an old school gymnasium. Lots of very cool details in this cabin. We had a lots of caulk and filler to get these ol logs back in shape but a few coats of paint and it turned out pretty good! She said she wanted the porch ceiling to feel like the sky so we painted it a pale blue and threw pearl flakes into the wet paint to throw light like the stars at night.

This summer has been absolutely insane!!! We had our year nearly booked by May. We’re on our 11th exterior paint job this summer. I will make time to post some photos this week. This house was the last project we painted last fall. Black is a nightmare! The hardest color I’ve used by far. But it turned out pretty slick. The team and I have done some pretty cool projects this year also. Photos soon to follow. Thanks for the work! 👨🏻‍🎨
