Have you ever came across something that was the unthinkable or a “you have to be kidding me moment”. Well we did just that while replacing this old leaking 4” gas valve in the ceiling of a commercial property. After removing the fl**ge bolts and properly securing each end, the valve fought us for a few moments to slide out. After noticing what looked to be wood inside we were able to slide it across and get the valve out to find a wire brush lodged inside the valve. Not only did the valve leak it didn’t operate and we found just the reasoning behind it. The only thought was someone used the wire brush to hold the valve up so the could start bolts and forgot about it. Does anyone else have a funny thought on it? Needless to say we got them back online and all fixtures bled and re lit. Oh did I mention we now have a new aged wire brush to add to our fleet, nothing like free tools.

Helped our commercial customer eliminate the leaking crane utility tub faucet. Removed the old hot/cold cartridges and replaced with new tossing on a more modern set of handles. Old fixtures that you want to keep vs replace give us a call we have a company who stocks almost every cartridge out there.

Nice shut off valve replacement we completed this week. Customer had enough of the hard to operate leaky gate valves and wanted them all swapped to ball valves. That’s exactly what we did. Old leaking, hard to operate or non functional valves we have the permanent solution.

Customer of ours had a squatter in there rental property this past winter. Once they were required to evacuate by local Pd the water system was never shut down as requested from landlord to water department, and electrical and gas was shut off without notice. As you can imagine an extreme freeze caused piping to burst and water was running for weeks. When I say it was the worsts I’ve ever seen I mean ice up the walls up the ceiling from basement to top floor. Any who, everything has been demo and the rebuild has begun. We helped remove all the old junk cpvc and replaced with pex. As well as removed all the damaged cast iron sewer stack replacing with pvc. This is just the beginning all toilets, tub, vanity exc will be replaced once the remaining demo and rehab is completed. We will keep up with the updates. Winter is ways away but if any out of state landlords needs a reliable company to ensure there property is up to par for the Ohio weather changes we can be the ones you count on.

The gas leak calls have continued. Another customer with leaking old gas shut off valves failed home inspection. We came in and removed all old valves and leak points replacing with new gas ball valves and re sealing leaking fittings. Proper pressure test gained and gas service back online with a leak free function.

Gas leak season has returned. Customer called with a gas leak that the gas company shut supply line down. After performing a pressure test we found multiple leaks. Made proper repairs and re pressure tested until a passing pressure test was gained. Gas smells give us a call we typically can respond the same day to make the needed repairs.

Another customer with water intrusion of rear foundation wall. This time it was from an old electrical conduit that ran to old garage that was never removed and properly sealed. Once deck removed we excavated to expose the rear problematic wall. Properly sealed inside and out after removing the old conduit and waterproofed the entire back wall as a concrete pad will be installed in the next few weeks. Water intrusion issues give us a call for a full diag and repair plan.

Confined space? No problem. We have the proper equipment needed for a safe confined space entry projects. This one was a little different than the norm. City shut down the fire system after it flooded a store down the road. After pumping out vault we found the lid of the 8” backflow had blown off. After an hour or so of digging through the gravel in vault we were able to recover the stainless steel lid and 10” vic coupling. It took some time to properly straighten the lid as it was tweaked from the water pressure but we got it done and replace the 10” Vic coupling as the original had corroded and chilled away the retaining glands. Fire line back online with leak free function.

Helped finish up this rental property in Parma. Replaced all old gate valves with ball valves as well as replaced full kitchen Sink discharge line adding clean out for future drain cleaning needs, clean out install on main sewer stack, kitchen sink and garbage disposal connection/install, spigot replacements, expansion tank installation on water heater, utility tub replacement with new faucet and supply lines, and some miscellaneous repairs on seeping water lines. Looking to correct issue points before they get worse or want to have known problematic issues fixed ahead of time give us a call for a free estimate.
