Great progress continues at the Swampscott Public Library renovation project.
✅ Stamped concrete installation was completed last week on the upper plaza slab.
✅ New front stairs were poured last week, marking a major milestone in the site's entrance reconstruction.
✅ Masonry crews have mobilized and begun work on the new front walls and site features.
✅ Carpenters are actively installing windows throughout the new vestibule addition and along the front building façade. The vestibule structure is rapidly taking shape, with new Pella window units being set and weatherproofing work underway.
The project continues to advance as multiple trades work simultaneously to transform the library's front entrance and improve accessibility, functionality, and the overall appearance of the facility.
