A note to our Middleton/Madison area customers with regard to Covid 19.
KEEPING YOUR FAMILY AND OURSELVES HEALTHY
________________________________________
Having anyone working inside your home during this time is obviously a cause for concern. We will do everything we can to be responsible guests. In addition to following CDC guidelines closely, we have found ways to reduce risk while continuing to conduct business.
What are we doing?
These are the procedures that we now follow to help prevent the spread of the virus:
1. Personal Hygiene: Hand washing (or gelling with hand sanitizer) upon coming to work and multiple times throughout the day is required. Employees will have access to hand gel and sanitizers in all trucks.
2. Material pick-up and delivery: For material pick up from our suppliers, we have material left outside of their buildings, for delivery, we have it dropped off in the rear of our shop. In both cases, we do not sign any paperwork or have contact with our supplier’s employees.
3. At the shop: We are easily able to practice social distancing in the office and shop areas. In many cases, employees are able to go straight from their homes to a job, limiting exposure to other people and surfaces. Commonly used surfaces are sanitized early in the morning and throughout the day.
4. Work spaces: During the working day, we will not shake hands. We will wear masks when social distancing is not possible. We will sanitize our working areas when the work has been completed.
5. Communication: In an effort to be consistent with social distancing, we encourage calls to the office to discuss your needs and for you to share pictures of your plumbing issue by text or email. By doing this, we can minimize face to face time at your home. In addition, we can text or email you your bill while we are on site which can then be paid with a credit card or through a checking account.
6. Transparency: We will never knowingly send an employee who has or has recently (withing the previous 14 days) had flu-like symptoms or a fever to your house. Before we arrive at your house, we will ask you whether anyone in your house has had symptoms or has had a fever. If this is the case, or if we see that someone in the home does have symptoms, we will leave the job and reschedule the work to be done at a later date.
As always, we appreciate your business!
