Gibbs Lawn Care is growing, and we’re looking for a Turf Applications Technician to join our team!
This is a full-time, year-round position working with both residential and commercial properties reporting directly to the company’s president, Robert Gibbs. The role focuses on fertilizer applications, w**d and pest control, turf health, and providing our customers with the quality service they’ve come to expect from Gibbs Lawn Care.
💼 What we’re looking for:
Have general knowledge ot plant biology and an understanding of common landscape plants, their diseases, and pests
Possess or ability to obtain a valid pesticide applicator license in all states in which the Company operates
Have an ability to accurately measure and apply chemicals according to label instructions and industry standards
Be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physical tasks such as walking long distances, lifting heavy objects, and operating spray equipment
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with the Company policies
Dependable and motivated and someone who takes pride in their work with strong attention to detail
Someone who enjoys working outside
A valid drivers license and a good driving record
💰 $45,000–$60,000/year based on experience
