From open porch to bright, clean sunroom

This recent transformation gave our customer a comfortable space to enjoy year-round while keeping the open, airy feel of the original porch. We handled the electrical work throughout the project, including receptacles, ceiling fans, and a wall heater.

With warmer weather here, ceiling fan installs are picking up. But before swapping or adding a fan, make sure the ceiling box is fan-rated.

A regular light fixture box is not designed to support the weight and movement of a ceiling fan. Over time, that vibration can loosen the box and create a safety issue.

At Parklight Electric, we make sure ceiling fans are properly supported, securely mounted, and safely wired.
