A buddy asked if I'd want to make a donation for a beefsteak fundraiser for their baseball team and we both thought Co****le Boards would be fun. Since it's mostly people from town I went with the town colors and mascot (Panthers) and these came out great!

The build was straight forward: Frame with a plywood top. But the devil is in the details. Precise measurements for the hole, round over on all the edges, precise angles for the legs, and tight straight lines for the paint job.

I perseverated over the logos for a long time and wound up using painters tape and my .official D1 Pro laser to cut out stencils in the tape to mask the surface. Lessons were learned, but they came out awesome.

Inspiration came from several sources including but not limited to You don't know me, but you've made an impact, much appreciated 👊

knew what she was looking for but couldn't find the right table. Sometimes a space just needs something custom so you get, not just what you want, but what you need.

Katie designed this media room with the entire family in mind. It's an elegant but effective space that is great for lounging, movie night, hosting, or gaming.

My contributions are the pub table and floating shelves. The table is built entirely out of ash from base to top, which has beautiful grain. The base is finished with Precolor Easy in "Intense Black" and then both the base and top are finished off with Oil Plus 2C "Black".

The shelves are pine with the same Oil Plus 2C finish to match the table top.

Seriously though, the last pic was the inspiration and the bench was built to the custom specs of the client. We met and discussed placement, space, and size and then made it happen!

Painted with Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel and I am super impressed with the sheen and feel of this paint. Should be able to withstand years and years of use and cleaning.

Bathroom was in dire need of vanity upgrade!

Plans were modified from and market to fit the size and space. The top is solid ash finished with Oil Plus 2c Pure.

Our shutters needed a MAJOR refresh!

The old plastic ones were just dated and a few months ago one broke in half during heavy winds. This style fits us and the house much better now and the black trim details we have been adding all along are coming together.

At first glance you might not notice the change, but when you see it, you can't unsee it. I love the subtlety them.

Yes, I know I need to paint that small attic window, but one thing at a time! 🤣

Not your average barn doors.

What do you do when you want the farmhouse look, but don't have the space to slide the door? Bi-fold baby!

This was two sets of bi-fold barn doors for two different bedrooms where function meets style. The doors match the existing style of the home, provide the much desired coverage of the closets, and don't take away any coveted wall space.

Table refinish. Was able to bring this table into the modern farmhouse world by stripping and refinishing with a painted base and natural top. What's tough about some modern day furniture is that it isn't all solid wood.

I was aware that the top was veneered but the base surprised me. When I stripped the finish off, I realized it was simply are hard waxy plastic underneath. No worries though! Primer and paint chalk paint took care of the base. Citristrip took care of the top so as to not disturb the veneer and that was followed up with High Performance Flat Out Flat clear coat.

This guy was fun to make. It is a custom cut letter for a former student who is attending Cornell. Figuring out the paint job was interesting, but it came out great!

Storage is essential. Took this blank slate and added some much needed function to it. Now each kid has a place to store their soccer bags and we don't have to look it! 🤣
