What a week! To end Construction Safety Week, we wanted to share a reminder and special safety message from Dan Niles:

💖The Vision: As Dan Niles explains in this video, "Safety Before First" isn't just a slogan; it’s a commitment to think, act, and plan with safety at the forefront of every single task.

🚗You are the Driver: We have the tools and the systems, but you are the ones behind the wheel. It is your daily commitment, your alertness, and your courage to speak up that steer this organization in the right direction.

🤝A Shared Responsibility: We are all in this together. When we engage our crew, value every voice, and apply our collective learnings, we build a workplace where everyone gets home safe.

Thank you for being "all in" this week and every day. Let’s keep this momentum going, continue using our brains as our most powerful safety tool, and keep driving toward a safer future. 🏗️✨

We’re moving into day four of Construction Safety Week 2026! Today’s theme, "Learn & Apply," focuses on how we evolve our processes to build a world-class safety culture.

Safety standards should never be static. True growth happens when we take the lessons learned on the ground and use them to drive continuous improvement in our daily operations.

🦺Analyze and Improve: We strengthen our collective safety by actively reviewing incidents, near misses, and—most importantly—the valuable feedback from our team members on the front lines.
🦺Bridge the Gap: We must communicate the critical difference between "work as planned" and "work as done." This transparency is the key to identifying where our systems need more support.
🦺Build Resilience: By understanding how work actually happens, we can design resilient systems that protect our people even when human error occurs.
🦺Drive the Upgrade: Taking these lessons and applying them directly to our high-hazard tasks ensures our safety protocols are always evolving to meet the demands of the job.

A culture of learning is a culture of living. Let’s take what we know and use it to build a safer tomorrow! 👷‍♂️💡

Halfway through Construction Safety Week 2026! Today we focus on "Respect"—honoring the high-risk nature of our craft and the dedicated people who power our industry every day.

Safety is built on a foundation of respect. It means prioritizing the well-being of our team at every level of the operation and treating every task with the meticulous care it deserves.

🦺Honor the Risk: High-risk tasks can be managed safely with the right controls, but they become potentially fatal the moment protections are neglected. Never underestimate the work.
🦺Value the Crew: Respect the job by valuing the collective experience of your team. Listen to seasoned voices and ensure every person is supported.
🦺No Shortcuts: True professional standards mean never succumbing to the temptation to cut corners. Meticulous care is the only way to operate.
🦺Respect the Energy: Maintain a healthy respect for "STCKY" energy. By refusing to underestimate its power, you uphold the standards that keep everyone safe.

When we respect the dangers of the job and the value of our teammates, we create a culture where everyone goes home whole. Let’s keep that standard high! 🏗️💙
