Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the building
Not a board was straight , not even the floor ;
The to do’s and fix me’s were hung by the door,,
In hopes that Mesquite Renovations soon would be there;
The quotes were nestled all snug in their folders,
While visions of productivity danced in their heads;
And mamma with her Pinrest , and I in excel,
Had just settled our brains for a commercial renovation,,
When out there was Mr. Evens with years of experience too,
I sprang to my computer to see all that work done.
Away to the phone I flew like a flash,
To dial the number and save on some cash.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But real customer service, and commercial contractor;
With a craftsmanship, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be Shane Evens.
Mesquite Renovations had to be sent right from the heavens,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called renovations by name;
"Now, Stores! now, Kitchens! now, Real Estate and offices !
On, Medical Practices! on, rentals! on, Lobby’s and signs!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the buildings ; with Quality work,
He sprang to his truck, to his team gave a whistle,
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."
