Today, we recognize Desiraima Medina for her quick thinking, calm response, and commitment to doing the right thing.

While checking water levels at the Goldeneye pit for Oxy transfer, Desiraima heard someone calling for help as she stepped out of her vehicle. She spotted a man at the bottom of the pit struggling to move due to the freezing water during the winter storm. After attempting to assist him, she quickly drove to the nearest location to get additional help. Together, she and another individual were able to pull the man and bring him to safety.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator / Office Assistant to support high-volume AP operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable and purchase orders with accurate coding
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Manage AP inbox, vendor communication, and new vendor setup (W-9s, credit applications)
• Collaborate with department managers and approvers to ensure timely invoice processing
• Answer multi-line phones, greet visitors, and provide general office support
• Run AP reports and follow up on pending approvals
• Assist with housing/man camp coordination, and special projects

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable and Purchase Order experience
• Strong understanding of AP processes and best practices
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Reliable, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Proven tenure and stability in previous roles

Experience with Communication/ Messenger Apps (e.g.. Group Me, WhatsApp, or similar)
