🧱 POST-REMODEL BRICK FLOOR CLEANING & SEALING

Remodeling can leave brick floors covered with construction dust, fine debris, and residue that settles deep into the pores and grout joints.

For this project, we performed a professional post-remodel cleaning followed by sealing to help protect the brick, enhance its natural character, and make routine maintenance much easier.

Have brick floors? Here are a few maintenance tips:

• Dust mop regularly. Brick is textured and can collect a lot of fine dirt and grit.
• Spot mop spills as needed rather than mopping the entire floor every time.
• For normal residential use, a thorough mopping every 3–4 weeks is usually plenty.
• If you mop more frequently, change your mop water often. Once that water turns gray and dirty, you’re no longer cleaning—you’re spreading dirty water back across a porous surface.
• Avoid harsh cleaners that can damage or prematurely wear the sealer.

Properly cleaned and sealed brick floors can be beautiful, durable, and surprisingly easy to maintain.

✨ Dirty Grout Lines Make The Marble Mosaic Tile Look Bad → Fresh, Bright & Renewed!

This beautiful mosaic marble floor had white grout that had become heavily soiled—some areas were nearly black.

After a professional deep cleaning, we saw a big improvement, but years of staining were still visible. We also discovered a couple of issues with the original installation:

🔎 Sanded grout had been used with the marble, which can contribute to those tiny scratches you see across this softer natural stone.

🔎 Many of the grout joints were recessed and not completely filled, creating little valleys where dirt and grime can easily collect.

For this project, we weren’t restoring or polishing the marble itself. Our focus was the grout.

Because the existing joints were recessed, we were able to apply a fresh skim coat of white unsanded grout, filling the joints more completely and creating a cleaner, more uniform appearance.

The result?
✅ Brighter, whiter grout
✅ Fuller, more uniform grout joints
✅ Less opportunity for dirt to collect
✅ A much cleaner overall appearance without replacing the floor

Sometimes a beautiful floor doesn’t need to be replaced—it just needs the right restoration approach.

Hours were spent restoring this shower.

Removing years of soap scum, hard water deposits, mold, and damaged grout. When we’re finished, people often say, “I can’t believe it’s the same shower.”

It reminds me of something much more important.

Jesus specializes in restoration too.

We all carry stains that don’t wash away with more effort. Regret. Shame. Broken relationships. Sin. We try to cover them up, but only Jesus can truly make us new.

Just like this shower wasn’t thrown away because it looked beyond repair, God doesn’t throw people away because of their past.

He restores.

He renews.

He redeems.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

I’m grateful I get to restore homes for a living, but I’m even more grateful that Jesus restored my life.
