Adding premium insulation to your addition will make your investment energy efficient while you enjoy the comfort. Open cell polyurethane foam was used in the roof and walls. Closed cell foam was used on the concrete slab to act as vapor barrier and insulation under the floors.

We are specialist in spray foam insulation and tend to be critical on fiberglass and cellulose. But using a hybrid method with foam and a batt or BIBS system (blown in blanket) is a great way to maximize the performance of conventional insulation. The pics show a netting material fastened to the wall and blown fiberglass, installed with air, densely packs the stud cavity. 2x6 framing shown achieves R-23 with pneumatically packed fiberglass.
