A little throwback to one of our favorite projects.

There was a lot of concrete that went into bringing this one together. Multiple elevations, steps, patios, walkways, helical piers and plenty of detail throughout all with a pretty hard to beat view.

We’ve been busy working and haven’t been great about posting lately, but we’ve got a lot more projects to share.

☀️ DON’T FORGET ABOUT YOUR FOUNDATION DURING THIS DRY WEATHER!

With the lack of rain we’ve had lately, the soil around your home is drying out and shrinking. Here in North Texas, that can cause movement around your foundation and potentially lead to cracking, settling, and other costly problems.

💧 A little preventative maintenance can go a long way.

Keep the soil around your foundation from becoming excessively dry by watering evenly around the perimeter of your home. A soaker hose placed roughly 12–18 inches away from the foundation is an easy way to help maintain more consistent moisture levels.

The goal isn’t to soak the ground or create standing water, it’s to keep the soil from going from extremely dry to extremely wet and help reduce drastic soil movement.

If you’re already noticing cracks in your concrete, separation around your home, drainage issues, or areas that have settled, give us a call. We’d be happy to take a look.
