Repair operations in the Wickenburg region have been temporarily halted as emergency personnel respond to a second wildfire in the vicinity. Technical teams have suspended all activity and are waiting for official clearance to ensure their safety before resuming work.

The Jones fire has been contained, and technicians from our partner provider are now on-site, assessing ground temperatures to ensure conditions are safe for repairs to begin. While they are working to restore full connectivity, please anticipate degraded service for at least the rest of the day given the extensive damage.

Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the fire, and we extend our gratitude to the crews who worked overnight to prevent what could have been far more devastating outcome.

Today's MTE Superhero is our local City of Benson, Arizona technician, Mr. Robert Farrington.
He didn't actually save any lives, or do anything super amazing, but he looked like he wanted to... kind of... for a second... until he got a tiny bit closer and the snake barely moved. Then he was OUT... but he's still a hero in our eyes... sort of. 🦸‍♂️
