Established in 1995, Northern Electric is growing and looking to add an experienced and licensed Journeyman Electrician to our team. This role will be leading a crew to complete residential projects, commercial projects, and service calls in the Salt Lake City area.

If you’re a Journeyman Electrician and are looking to grow your career with a craft-focused, employee-centric company, we’d like to talk with you.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead a crew of 1-2 apprentices for residential and commercial project and remodeling work

Work closely with our GM to ensure projects get completed properly, on time and on budget

Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems

Read blueprints and wiring schematics to make client recommendations

Must be familiar with updated NEC codes

Verify compliance and functionality of installations

Ability to solve problems independently

Utilize ServiceTitan for scheduling and job requirements

Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites

Maintain high degree of professionalism in conduct and appearance

Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience

Utah Journeyman or Master License

Residential and remodel experience

Applicants must have a valid Utah journeyman and driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Background and reference checks may be required
