Built in 1838, First Presbyterian Church in Milton has stood tall nearly two centuries. Its last roof job, about 20 years ago, left large gaps in the sheathing.

Here's how we fixed it:
🛠️ Full tear-off across every roof plane in scope
🛠️ New sheathing to give the system a solid, continuous base
🛠️ 200 squares of Owens Corning Duration shingles in Onyx Black
🛠️ Custom Everlast Mansard Brown box gutters, tied into the original copper sanctuary gutters we preserved

Reaching the bell tower and the upper elevations safely took a 60-foot forklift, a 60-foot manlift, and tie-off fall protection the whole way through. Happy to share that Sunday services and parking were never interrupted.

“The crew worked long hours and did a wonderful job...” — Matt Edinger, Seated Elder

Re-roofing an occupied elementary school means planning the work around the school day, not the other way around. For this Central PA school’s shingle roof replacement, our crew scheduled around arrival and dismissal, kept the site safe with students and staff on campus, and kept the school updated throughout the project. 🏢

Thank you to our crew for their professionalism, and to the school’s staff for these reviews:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Very cooperative, fast paced crew. Easy to work with daily. Job looks great! Nice crew. Vernon kept us updated on the project.” — Julie Miller, five-star Google review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Equity recently worked on the roof at the school where I teach. The workers were very cooperative when it came to working around arrival and dismissal times, they greeted staff in a friendly manner each day, and they often waved to the children throughout the day. They were pleasant and worked hard. Our roof looks beautiful, and I feel it was completed in a timely manner.” — Angela Fox, five-star Google review

The chances of a bullet damaging your shingle roof are low, but never zero.

We found not one, but TWO bullets lodged in this commercial roof. Anyone want to guess what city we're in?

It was such an honor to sponsor a child at this year's Raised At Full Draw youth camp in PA. We're proud of these kids for getting outdoors and pushing themselves with new skills.

We've got these sweet thank-you notes displayed in our marketing office to remind us that we're more than just roofing experts. We're members of this community, and as long as we're able, we'll keep giving back to it.

Equity Commercial Roofing has been hard at work replacing the shingle roof of this elementary school. An active school campus leaves no room for shortcuts, so our crew has planned every phase around student schedules and site access, with administrators informed every step of the way.

A safe site and a well-protected building are the result of people who take their responsibility seriously. Thank you, crew. With this many young eyes on the job, you may have inspired a few future roofers along the way. 🛠️
