Nothing like a little curb appeal transformation for this home! These old, failing railroad tie retaining walls were in desperate need of replacement. Both walls were replaced with natural outcropping stone and are over 6 feet tall at the highest points! Each wall consisted of roughly 50 tons of stone and backfilled with clean rock to allow for proper drainage. Both walls were hydroseeded with no mow grass and also riprap in steep areas to control erosion. Contact us today for your natural stone needs!

The last week was spent cleaning up an old, overgrown house lot. Trees were stacked along the side of the lot for a privacy barrier. Trails were also made through the property!

After many years of a failing overflow tube and eroding backside, this pond dam was in need of some desperate help! The old pond overflow tube was torn out and replaced with a new one that now runs the full length of the dam. To dress the back side of the dam up and add support, dirt was dozed off a hillside nearby and spread across the backside of the dam. The area was then soil conditioned and seeded to help prevent further issues with erosion!

The last week was spent cleaning up some fencelines in between rain showers! Unwanted brush and trees were turned into mulch and then the leftover mulch was raked to the edge of the woods. Cleaning out some old fencelines and pasture to run new fence around this property! A culvert was also installed to allow for easier access to one section of this property.

Roughly three feet was also able to be shaved off of a k**b and pushed up behind this house to make this backyard easier and safer to maintain!

After having the overflow fail leading to the dam failing on this pond over 30 years ago, it was deserving of second chance at life. Five feet of silt was cleared out from the bottom of this old pond to help return its previous depth. The dam was cored out and repacked with clay after removing the trees that had grown up through it. The excess silt was stored behind the dam and spread over the backside to help prevent another failure. A fun project to start the new year out with!
