For our anniversary this year Ashley and I decided against gifts but I couldn’t help myself. I chose copper and decided to add my own mark. Used a cool piece of walnut I had sitting around and turned a little rest for the copper bowl.
If you would be interested in a ring dish(minus the copper), let me know, would happily make more of these!!

Haven’t posted on here in a while, life has been a bit hectic. I am still enjoying the hobby of woodworking. We recently started baking sourdough bread and Ashley asked for a bread box. Used a design I found online and made it my own. This is from one piece of Walnut and it had a live edge left I was able to use for the top!

Finishing this Checker Board with a wipe-on polyurethane, I’ve recently started using it as my go to finish for non-food safe projects. It takes a few extra coats but the final look is worth it! A few more coats and some sanding and this one will be done!
