🏠 You Can’t See Radon… But It Could Be the Biggest Health Risk in Your Home.

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that seeps into homes through the foundation. It’s colorless, odorless, and tasteless—which means the only way to know your home’s radon level is to test it.

The EPA recommends taking action if your home’s radon level is 4.0 pCi/L or higher, but there is no known safe level of radon exposure.

Northwest Iowa is known for elevated radon levels, and I’ve tested many homes that were well above the EPA action level—even newer homes.

🏠 When was the last time you checked your radon level?

If it has been 2 years or more since your last radon test — it’s time to test again.

Radon levels can change over time due to changes in your home, foundation, HVAC system, weather, and even soil conditions.

Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that can enter your home without you knowing. The only way to know your level is to test.
