Our Milford house is done!!!! Our design thought process was let’s keep it clean, let’s keep it simple, let’s slow down.
What we did: EVERYTHING!!! It had good bones, so we kept the bones. Everything else is entirely brand new. On the outside, a new roof, new siding, soffit, fascia, windows, new front porch and sidewalk. New entry doors, new exterior light fixtures, new back patio , we added on an attached garage, back entrance with laundry area and a master bathroom. The back entrance to the house is quite large with the laundry area and a new washer and dryer. The kitchen of course is all brand new cabinetry, quartz countertops and appliances and a pantry closet. Three bedrooms each with decent closets and the master has 2 closets. The 2 full bathrooms are entirely brand new, both with double vanities. There is a linen closet in the hallway. The hallway is wide. All new flooring throughout, all new lighting throughout. All new electrical, plumbing, heating and central air conditioning. The basement has been waterproofed, and walls painted with a new stairway to the basement. The garage is quite large. There is an extra shed/garage that we decided to keep and we did put a new roof on it, siding and an overhead door. We left the interior as is. The extra garage would be good for a lawnmower, golf cart, toys, bikes etc.
I of course love love love this house!!! If I had to choose one thing that I love the most it would be the spacious back entrance/ laundry area.
Our hope is that this house will make a wonderful, beautiful, new home for someone.
