Check out this Installation of two 1000 gallon rainwater tanks used for irrigation, strategically placed to be hidden beneath the deck. Tanks can be filled with rainwater or recycled water and are equipped with a sensor that tells them how much water is in their tank at all times. These water champions are drastically reducing their municipal water use with this system and making their water go farther!

Our Water Champions team works hard to find innovative ways to conserve and reuse water by installing rainwater and recycled water systems to make water go farther and create a green abundance for all!
By capturing and recycling greywater and rainwater to go back to the toilets, laundry, and landscape irrigation, we can reduce potable water usage by 50% or more, reduce our water bills and our carbon footprint.

Fabrice is a Champion of sustainability and was looking to save water to fight the drought. Water Champions worked closely with him to design a system that would address his irrigation needs as well as fit within the limited footprint of his property. Two 530 gallon Slimline tanks now capture rainwater from his roof and feed it directly into his irrigation with the goal of reducing his potable water use for irrigation for water use by 70%.

A heads up that December 1st is the first day of Marin Water's newly imposed tiered water usage penalties & irrigation prohibition, which prohibits automatic watering of your landscape and imposes $5-$15/CCF penalties if you go above Tier 1 usage (above 21 CCF's per two-month billing period) between now and May 31, 2022 (see https://www.marinwater.org/node/679). Note that 1 CCF=748 gallons of water. Now is a great time to get your rainwater tanks and home water recycling systems installed to make your water go farther!
