Great evening with our friends at the Milledgeville-Baldwin Chamber for the quarterly “Business After Hours”! We enjoyed the fellowship and networking with many familiar faces, but were also honored to have the opportunity to meet some new ones! Congratulations again to all of our award winners this year at the Annual GALA!

Grateful for the opportunity to attend the Annual Awards Dinner and GALA with the Milledgeville-Baldwin Chamber! Thank you very much to the staff and all of the volunteers who worked so hard to make sure this night turned out perfect!

We enjoyed the opportunity to connect and fellowship with some new friends and local businesses at our table!

Big congratulations to all of our award winners! Our community is growing and doing great things on a daily basis, but it is very cool for us all to be able to come together through events like tonight and throughout the year with the chamber and not only celebrate each others wins, but also support each other in difficult times!

Even though we may have not made it as a finalist this year for the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award, we would like to take the opportunity to thank those nominated us as well as the selection committee for taking the time to learn more about our company! We love supporting our local community and schools!

Ben Bracewell graduated in 2015 from JMA and finished his Associates degree from GMC in the summer of 2017. Ben got married to his beautiful wife Ashley in December of 2017 and they have 2 beautiful daughters - Bentley Claire who is graduating kindergarten from JMA this year and Brinley Kate who is one.
Ben joined his dad in running Bracewell Pest Control in January 2017 and together they have been able to grow the company from a team of 2 to a team of 6 that covers a 100 mile radius around Baldwin County. He is currently a licensed pest control operator in household pest control as well wood destroying organisms and he has his applicator license. In 2020, Ben also founded Bracewell Property Investments which is his rental property company, that has grown to four homes for working class adults or those looking to downsize.
He is an active member in the Milledgeville/ Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce, an active member of Northridge Christian Church, and has been very fortunate to come back to JMA over the years since graduation and coach middle school football and baseball for a few years, participate in many school fundraisers in recent years including the auction, bbq sale, and the JMA football golf tournament.

Ben says, “It definitely means more to give back to a school that helped develop me into the person I am today. Now that I have a daughter who attends JMA, I want to continue to see it thrive for future generations.”

Another great day at The Club at Lake Sinclair supporting the John Milledge Academy football team! Thanks to my good friend Jim Fain (Fickling Lake Country) and Adison Fain (Middle Ga Detailing) for coming to play a fun round of golf!
