Filling the pond is the easy part. Preparing it is where the work begins.

Before any fill could be placed in this old quarry pond, unsuitable material had to be removed and the base prepared. We're now placing and compacting fill in lifts to build a solid foundation for what's to come. Still a few more loads to go before this one is finished.

What started as open ground is now beginning to take shape for a future place of worship, gathering and community. From moving dirt with tractor scrapers to final grading, it’s rewarding to watch the transformation unfold step by step.

Out with the old and ready for the new.

The existing concrete was removed and the stone carefully graded and prepared for the concrete crew, all while maintaining safety alongside the busy roadway.

Transformation Tuesday

This homestead near Malvern is getting a facelift, starting with extensive brush clearing and topsoil regrading to prepare for a new lawn.

The main entrance was finished with washed gravel landscaping, and the driveway was expanded to create additional parking and help bring the property back to life.

Final grading is complete, erosion control is in place, and the site is ready to be seeded and become a relaxing lakefront retreat.

With the final grade complete, concrete areas prepared, and some hydroseeding finished, this Lake Buckhorn property will soon be ready to enjoy.

It’s always rewarding to watch a project come to life, one step at a time.

We started by removing topsoil and replacing an old steel culvert, followed by grading and placing stone for the driveway to establish access to the site. From there, we continued with site grading and finally dug the footers — ready for construction.
