Filling the pond is the easy part. Preparing it is where the work begins.

Before any fill could be placed in this old quarry pond, unsuitable material had to be removed and the base prepared. We're now placing and compacting fill in lifts to build a solid foundation for what's to come. Still a few more loads to go before this one is finished.

It’s always rewarding to watch a project come to life, one step at a time.

We started by removing topsoil and replacing an old steel culvert, followed by grading and placing stone for the driveway to establish access to the site. From there, we continued with site grading and finally dug the footers — ready for construction.
