The small door at Oblong Books has been stolen along with the snowman and Christmas wreath. Just last week we were very gratified when someone reattached the wreath to the door after it had fallen off. But now someone has decided to deprive the Village of this wonderful landmark which has been in the Village for many years. The Small Door Repair Company advisory council will meet to discuss what response we will make. We are very upset and hurt by this.

Big REVEAL. This is a gazebo, it is located at the head of the Rail Trail's northern extension in Millerton where the original gazebo was located before it was removed to make way for the rail trail. The original stood for many years but was too fragile to save when it was removed. Lots of us remember it fondly, there were singers who performed in it, local musicians played in a band there, you could just sit and have a cup of coffee out of the heat of the day. And you could simply enjoy the beauty of the structure. This is a small gesture to remember it by.
