Busy day yesterday. Helped out a great little family with their home issues and made sure they were safe with their beautiful baby. When I was headed to them I got a call for a busted water line. Made quick work of it and made sure it stays insulated until the customer can move it below ground.

With the bitter cold forecasted for the up coming days plan ahead. Make sure all underpinning around your trailers are covered if possible, make sure out door faucets are covered up. Old rags will work if wrapped well enough. Make sure crawl space openings are closed off. Also dripping faucets is worth a slightly higher water bill than a repair call would cost.

Customer thats been keeping me busy asked if there was any way that a dishwasher could be installed in his kitchen. Ended up getting an 18 inch dishwasher due to space restrictions. Fully hooked up, framed, now just need to do the finish work on it. Customer going to get another counter top made to match existing. Also fixed what ever contraption the previous plumber had rigged up for a drain and fixed a leaky fitting that was one movement away from destroying the cabinet. Non cookie cutter installations can be a pain in older houses or where other fingers have been but they're sometimes fun with problem solving while also making it look decent and professional. (Oak boards were for the customer to see not what's getting installed onto it)
