"Bar room Joe"
Hey I need electrical work ,Joe says he can do it.So Joe runs some wires ,adds some receptacles and fixes some problems .He turns on the breaker and wala! We have light .Then you pay Joe.Six months later you smell smoke and your lights are flickering.
Hey where's Joe? .Someone thinks they saw him heading for New Orleans on a motorcycle .
Then it's time to sell your house ,an inspector says you need in inspection and approval for Joe's work so you have to pay a licensed electrician to redo it.
When you hire non professionals you often pay more for work being done twice,or for fixing things rhat are not broken .And then you can't find the guy who did it.
The licenced professional has insurance and works within the law.It is best to do it once and do it right.
