So I’m calling the mini she room done!! It was a fun project and I hope the space is used a lot! Added lots of custom Moroccan style accents in the art desk, lamps, and outlet covers. Added a ladder and a safety rail to match the gold theme. Took some time off work to knock out a few projects for customers and wrap up this room.

So a busy week multi tasking with work and side projects…. The mini she room saga rolls on and the painter comes next week so let’s hope the rest of the rooms done Sunday! Doorways are framed, built-ins done, and drawers framed so the rest of the trim and paint prep should go quickly 🤞🏾🤞🏾.

So it’s been a fun couple of weeks!! Got to collaborate with the City of Milton for a new Parks and Recreation sign, City of Alpharetta for some charcuterie boards made from the old oak flooring from the basketball court from the original Milton High School Eagle Village Gym. Did the boards in a chevron pattern and engraved them with the laser and the Milton sign turned out great and will look awesome and the new Parks and Rec Office.

So the mini she room floors and drawers are done! Trim and stain next and as I hate painting more than anything almost in this life I have my painter scheduled for mid February 😂. The floors are great but lots of wedging when installing as they were all 12’ long by 10” wide. So need to shake a leg…. Next weeks a short week for me at work so let’s hope the wood fairy’s come lol

So the mini she room shiplap is done and the floors should be ready to go in next week. Picked them up from the mill and stacked them in a extra bedroom to acclimate. They are almost + or - 1% moisture compared to the subfloor. Trim, accent panels, and drawers after…..

So the two time consuming walls are done in the mini she room. The rest of the shiplap should go up quickly. Put in HD drawer slides so the drawers will be able to handle 500lbs + 😂. Been knocking it out after work and all the furniture etc has arrived so the pressure is on haha. Floors ordered from the mill and hopefully go in next week!!
