Did you know that child safety plug in protectors on outlets are now a thing of the past?

New technology incorporated the child safety protectors into new style tamper resistant outlets.

The shutter mechanism inside the new style outlet blocks access to the contacts unless a 2 or 3-prong plug is inserted, helping ensure hairpins, keys, etc. will be locked out.

These new style outlets meet 2011 NEC requirements for dwelling units (406.12), guest rooms (406.13) and child care facilities (406.14).

Today we did a 100 amp to 200 amp service upgrade on a house in Janesville. Here are a few before and after pictures. Take a look at the burnt up lug that is holding one of the line wires. I think we may have saved this homeowner from a house fire!

Today we enjoyed the nice weather and installed six LED lights for a tennis court!

We recently spent a few days at a local apartment complex changing out burnt out light bulbs with new LED bulbs. We were also asked to clean the dirty light fixtures. Here is just one example of the before and after results.

Here is one of our recent jobs. We set a new service for a garage and ran power to an above ground tennis court. The tennis court has 4 heaters underneath that we provided power for.
